Mr. Salcido is one of the founding attorneys of Utah Defenders. Mr. Salcido began his criminal defense experience with the Utah County Public Defender’s Office during law school. Years later, Mr. Salcido continues to defend the rights of criminal defendants against the awesome power of the state. He has defended countless individuals against all types of felony and misdemeanor criminal charges in justice court and district courts throughout the State of Utah and especially has a passion for defending individuals against drug crime charges.
Mr. Salcido has testified before the Utah House Judiciary Committee on criminal matters that affect the individual rights of the accused and the general public. Mr. Salcido is also a member of the Utah Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and acts on its Legislative Committee in an effort to protect individuals from the many laws which are proposed every year which would negatively impact the rights of due process of the accused.
Mr. Salcido has a passion for liberty and for that reason dedicates his time to defending individuals against government charges. Individual rights are paramount and the innocence of those accused of crimes must be protected.
Mr. Salcido graduated cum laude from the J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University in 2004, and is licensed to practice law in Utah, Arizona, and California.
